At Lighthouse Baptist we strive to put scripture to the center of what we do. We believe that it is the Word of God and that it holds the answers to life. We have trusted Christ for salvation and strive to trust him in every area of our lives, led by his Word.

Exhortation

One of the leading purposes of a church is for believers to encourage one another. God uses His Church to help build one another up.

Sharpening one Another

Part of building one another is sharing God's Word with each other. We take time really to discuss what he has taught us to be a benefit one to another.

Music

We try to honor God in our music and focus on songs that strive to praise God and lift him up. We use traditional hymns and occasionally some newer songs that are scripture focused.

Romans 12:1-2

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”

God has the Power to Change Lives

The more we read scripture the more we see that Christ changes us and conforms us into his image. Christ would have us to live transformed lives through the washing of His Word.

Discipleship is a pivitol part to the growth of the believer. We want you in scripture early and often. We use our Bible studies to accomplish alot of growth in the believers and also leave room for fellowship amongst other believers. Christ tells us to teach all things whatsoever he commaded us, and we take time with each person to attempt to accomplish just that.
